It was a long drive for a baby...blueberry break!
Nathan's first night in a hotel. He loved it of course since he got to snuggle with Mom and Dad all night :) The next morning he got to enjoy a nice breakfast on the balcony.
Having a little picnic (just like Little House on the Prairie!! :D
Keith and Megan
Our little family
Hanging out in a log cabin (note: we usually do dress our kid in pants, but they didn't survive the drive from the hotel)
We borrowed a hiking backpack from a friend, and Nathan loved it!
It must have been very comfortable.
Like...REALLY comfortable ;)
This is an old outhouse...complete with fresh water trough to wash up after!
So colorful. So yummy.
Hanging with his monkey outside the aquarium
The haunted house! There was another haunted house attraction in town with a big ghost decoration outside...he was so afraid of it! I never heard the baby make those noises before! We wondered how he knows that it was supposed to be scary...anyways after that a stuffed moose head also prompted the same response so...ghosts are scary. So are moose.
Eating the rest of my apple. The whole core...oh well!
Then we walked on a trail outside town for a bit before deciding to head back to the hotel. It was a nice walk, we started before sunup and got to see the town before everything opened.
Sunday we stopped at the Chimney Tops picnic area for a break and to look at the scenery...it was very nice.
I'm not sure what this pout was for.
This is a new thing...not sure where it came from (daycare?), but when he gets really excited sometimes he'll throw his hands up!
I really like this one :)
Smootches with Aunt Megan
Touching lots of things...we really let him explore and I can already see my future: grass stains and holes in the knees for the next several years :p
More candy!
Someone's a little cranky before he gets his caffeine ;)
Planning where to go for the day
Checking out the Easter decor
Driving with Daddy
A bear!
A baby :D
