8 Months and Nathan's First Snow

Here's Nathan at 8 months old! He's a big boy now: he can pull up on the furniture to stand up, and can crawl away as fast as we can chase him! Every day I think he gets a tiny bit bigger...it's kind of sad that he's not a tiny baby anymore, but also things are getting more fun and I am looking forward to taking him places when he gets a little bigger.


Getting him to sit still for a picture is a little tough now, he wants to jump off the chair!

Nathan's learning to use a spoon...I load it up for him and he crams it in his mouth

He also looooves to drink from a cup.  I think getting to a glass of water was his motivation to start crawling and to start pulling up on furniture...

We had our first good snow last weekend!  Of course I had to drag the baby outside for a few pictures before it melted the next day.

 He actually didn't like it too much...until I brought him inside and he realized he could eat the snow off his jacket. 

He also likes to "brush" his teeth while I get ready in the morning.  He has 2 teeth on the bottom and 3 on top now, with a couple more peeking through.

We went out to an early Valentine's dinner at Carrabba's and he got to eat bread and practice his sippy cup.

He even got to order his first meal off the menu: green beans!

Ahhh...my little boy is getting so big.  I think someone needs a new sleep sack ;)

Trying to get the kitty...(also, I think besides Mama and Dadda, I'm betting on kitty or cat being his first word.  He loves that cat, and Panther is surprisingly very tolerant of having his fur "petted" (eg pulled) by the baby.

We also took Nathan to the park near our house to swing on the swings and run the bases...I think he's a natural!
