Visitors!

We've been lucky enough the past few weeks to have some family come down to visit.  A couple weeks ago my Aunt Paulie and Uncle Brian stopped by for a few hours to see Nathan.  He mostly slept while they were here, but it was a nice visit for me!

Then, a week before I had to go back to work my Mom came down to spend a few weeks with us. We were pretty excited, and she's been a total lifesaver.  I think she likes him ;)  If only we lived closer...
We've done a few things: gone for walks in the gardens and by the river, made peach cobbler, and of course some crafty things!  I know Nathan (and Allan and I) will definitely miss her when she has to go home next week!

One Month!

I really can't believe our little boy is ONE MONTH old today!  My little guy is growing up so fast ;)  Today we went on a short walk at a nearby park / farm, and I got my first practice of changing a diaper on the grass :D
I'd like to say that we've settled into a routine, but...not so much.  We're working on getting him to nap during the day for more than a few minutes at a time.  Right now the key seems to be a tight swaddle and the "extreme rain" soundtrack on the white noise app.  Otherwise, he really is a good baby and doesn't usually cry too much.

Last night we Skyped with my Mom and Dad for the first time with the baby...I think everyone enjoyed it.  Looking forward to my Mom's visit next week!
